Everything was perfect when Paul was with Rodor and as soon as he left in 2021, Marven took over and has not paid me 7 months rent that he has told me he will pay multiple times, but no money has been transferred. Marven claims that they had a software upgrade in Dec 2021 and hence why I haven’t received my rent. I have had my lawyer investigate this information and through his sources, he has verified with the software provider (PayProp) no upgrade or maintenance issues have been reported for Rodor Lettings between Oct-Dec 2021. Marven also rented my apartment to a tenant without my consent and gave a lower rental amount before discussing with me. Having spoken with the previous tenant, she also confirmed that when Paul left, the professionalism disappeared and Rodor is no longer what it used to be.

I’m paying for a lawyer to deal with this situation and has sent a formal letter to the tenant directly.

Marven has lied to me over the phone and now I am involving lawyers, filing complaints to multiple agencies that Marven/Rodor is associated with. My lawyer is submitting a small claims court application and is writing to the Trading Standards to report this behaviour as well as filing a case with the PRS.

Several other landlords are in a similar situation - STAY AWAY.

Firstly I was never kept up to date but infact I had to chase you all the time for updates. 9 out of 10 times you said you’d call back on any issue raised and never did . Secondly I was more then reasonable as a landlord, Rodor failed as managing agents. The grievance will be acknowledged within 3 days and then investigated
thoroughly in accordance with established “in-house” procedures. A formal
written outcome of the complaint will be sent to you within 21 days.  If we require longer than this timescale we
