I'm really disappointed with the service I've received in the past month from the property manager, after having a good year, and its sad that I've had to end my tenancy on this note. But it definitely impacts the fact that I wouldn't recommend Chellton brown to any of my friends or families if you can't even respond to a simple email or pick the phone up to phone a tenant when they have requested a call back. Or pick the phone up to tell a tenant about a repair issue, but rather wait until the tenant had to keep following up and reply rather abruptly over email without any conversation or call to try make me feel guilty and seem like I wont pay it and already threaten that the landlord will take it further. There was absolutely no need to send any email like that. If you had simply picked up the phone and explained any situation It would have been no problem but to send a email like that is highly upsetting and immediately makes any person reading that not happy and not openly wanting to accept anything.
Also the fact that you are willing to take a contractors word over your own tenants word about a situation also says alot about the protections and support for your tenants. Clearly if I had broken the window I wouldn't have reported it but fixed it on my own. It's just common decency. So reporting the window clearly means something happened that I was unaware of. And using the football as an excuse is also not acceptable, as for all inspections performed on the house by chelton brown, if you had inspected the back Garden you would have seen that football had been in the exact same spot the whole year. It has been there since I've moved in.
And yes we are all busy and I have a job to, but when my customers request call backs or email me it's my number one priority to return these requests. Is that not what a property managers job is?
And then to make it even better the estate agents are entering my house without giving me any notification of inspections and I received camera notifications that someone was in my house, very lucky I didn't call the police.
We both signed an agreement stating I would let you view the house but you would give me notification. What happens if I had people over or I was sleeping.
And no chance was provided for me to attend the leaving inspection. I had been asking since January for a time as I was emigrating and needed someone to go for me. And I was only given a time a week before the inspection. So basically not giving me any heads up as requested to attend.
So I am deeply disappointed as its basically like you walk into that house wanting to use the tenants deposit. So I knew there would be comments that I need to pay for items and what do you do, you obtain the most expensive quotes. If there were such huge issues in the house, why were they never reported in previous inspections. Such a scam.
For a company that is providing a service you definitely don't have any loyalty to your tenants and basically just want to make money from us.
So I am now glad I am done with the worst estate agent ever so you can now go steal other people's money.
And I will never recommend you to anyone.
