This is only the fourth house we have bought in over 30 years, so we don't have a lot of experience with it! However: we felt the team at Cheffins were wonderful from start to finish. Chris was informed, easy to talk to, positive, and gave a clear insightful steer re pricing and marketing -- which turned out to be absolutely correct: we sold within three weeks, asking price, after only two high quality viewings. Dan Driver (not able to tag him) then took over for the actual sale, and he was also brilliant: approachable, friendly, professional, and had excellent advice throughout regarding how to handle two bidders. I felt he was trustworthy and honest throughout, and sincerely doing his best for us and also for our buyers. Finally, Sarah took over after sales, and she was fantastic. It was a seven (then six) sale chain, and she had her work cut out for her regarding some sticky promises made by other agents at the bottom of the chain, and a slightly unpredictable top of the chain. She paced things well though and always kept us informed. She was cheerful, never panicked, always practical, and always returned my calls and responded to messages or queries. Throughout, we appreciated how the whole team communicated with us and with each other, how everyone seemed to truly care, and how, ultimately, they kept us from panicking too in what is of course always a huge undertaking. Overall, we really could not have asked for better advice or professionalism, from marketing to sale to exchange. To the point where on the day of exchange, I had a call from Chris with congratulations, and then the next day, a note from Dan (Sarah was on holiday -- I have the feeling she will be in touch too; it was a haul!). I know that this all constitutes their 'job' -- but it feels genuine, and the results are genuine too. Thank you!
