This was a re-market of our property that didn't sell the previous year (2018) due to a break down of the chain. We had at this time received very positive feedback from Emily, and encouragement from the team that how we were proceeding was right for the market. This was sadly let down by one of the more senior manager of the branch to who had decided to intervene with an email that was extremely unprofessional, suggesting that our price (which had already been lowered from the amount that he himself had set) was too high!! A quote from the email stated "... you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink...). I immediately changed agents!!
Due to the logistics and strategy of the other agents we took our house off the market and reluctantly I used Lawson again the following year (2019). After popping in branch, we were met by a familiar welcoming face, and I relisted there and then after a discussion about the previous years events. at last years price. Within a few weeks, and SOLD!! Lots of communication, from Julie and even managed to secure a viewing on another property (which we bought) before it came to market, as they clearly understood what we were after.
All in all a positive outcome, and I would have given 5 stars but for THAT email!
