Poorly maintained property. Took £50 off my deposit when leaving as they found three cobwebs and a little dust on the carpet. This despite me having returned it in a better state as I got all the mould off the tiles in the bathroom and cleared the filth from behind every radiator while I rented the flat and had the filthy windows cleaned. Also the fridge was mouldy when we moved in and I returned it clean and cleaned behind it which had not been done. When I challenged the retention they said that they could not take what I had cleaned into account as that was BETTERMENT AND BETTERMENT DID NOT COUNT IE I SHOULD HAVE LIVED IN IT WITH A MOULDY FRIDGE AND RETURNED IT WITH ONE, I GUESS.. Then I went past and saw it was being redecorated ie I should never have been charged for the little dust and three cobwebs. They would have taken more off me if I hadn't been so belligerent. I never saw a receipt for the £50 quid charged for cleaning and doubt it was done as the painters were in AND ANYWAY IT WAS NOT NEEDED IF THE PAINTERS WERE IN AS THEY WERE REDOING.. I WOULD AVOID THIS LETTING ASGENT LIKE THE PLAGUE AS THEY EXIST FOR THE LANDLORD'S BENEFIT.


They didn't maintain the block well and were totally uninterested in the tenants except for money collection they were hot on.

Avoid if possible..

Dan, I'd be interested to learn how the legal procedures went as I'm not entirely sure you can sue somebody for putting into print the absolute truth & especially when there's plenty of corroborative evidence? ...
