I chose to sell my house with Ryder & Dutton after getting valuations from a few other local agents. They weren't the cheapest in terms of fees but I was impressed by their use of online technology. I had my valuation within a few hours sent via email - another agent took a week to send it by post. I was also able to log into their sales portal to view up to date figures on online viewings, viewing bookings and the history of the sale.
Lewis who came to do my valuation was also very friendly and personable, other agents were very sales orientated and I just didn't warm to them. I felt like they were the agents I would work best with and who understood my needs best.
I did have some concerns about the asking price to begin with as I felt it may be too high. I was also concerned about the lack of viewings I had in the first 8 weeks (I experience a lot of cancellations, I don't know if that is normal or not). I asked for it to be reduced after around 8 weeks. I did get an offer on this reduced price. Whilst I wouldn't say I was inundated with viewings, when I did have one, the feedback from Ryder & Dutton was always useful.
Once I accepted an offer, Amy and Oliver who dealt with the sale were very professional, they made sure I was up to date with the progress at all times and helped to speed things along.
Overall I was happy with the service I received and would use Ryder & Dutton again. Whilst I appreciate they are there to sell my house I didn't feel they were just focused on the sale at any cost.

Not the cheapest, but not too much. It was a fixed fee which was good.
