A very long convoluted chain which resulted in one or two issues along the way. The biggest issue for us was being misled into remaining in a chain that was not complete to retain their fees from multiple sellers in the chain. Once this was acknowledged, rectified and addressed correctly after many weeks, they took ownership of the situation fully, gave more regular updates and were instrumental in keeping the chain progressed to an eventual completion.
I have been a customer as a landlord of Cowling & Payne for many years with no complaints whatsoever and this is the first experience i have of them for sales - my initial review would have been to avoid at all costs but they redeemed themselves massively in the final weeks and the service was much, much better and efficient. The photographs were excellent, they were very proactive, viewings well conducted and the rates are very competitive vs some other agents - the initial experience would not put me off using their services again because they proved that they could be very capable and efficient when it mattered and hopefully would continue to be so but I would be inclined to be more inquisitive as to the entire chains accurate position before accepting any offers.

James & Emily were both very helpful and I would definitely recommend them. Michael, took a greater ownership of the bad situation as it unraveled and was more present as the sale progressed. Emma was our first contact - she no longer works for the business......
