We are both so so pleased with our experience with Bradleys Okehampton, especially all the help and support we had from Jonathan. This was my first house I've moved into, having been living with parents before this, and in addition to having no previous landlord for a reference I have also only been self employed for the last 14 months. I viewed several houses before this, and was told by various estate agents that being self employed for less than 3 years I would have to have a guarantor. I then viewed a few places with Bradleys who made it clear that so long as I could back up my income it wouldn't be an issue, which was so relieving to hear!! Then I found the house I wanted in Okehampton, shown to me by Jonathan. He was very knowledgeable about the house, answering every question I had (and not laughing at any stupid questions I asked!) and making it clear that being self employed wouldnt be held against me. He was supportive throughout the entire process, always on hand if I had any sudden questions, and keeping me updated throughout. He made what would usually be a stressful process feel relaxing and easy, sending my application straightaway, and getting me from my first phonecall to being asked to come collext the keys in no time at all!! The only negative is that I missed him when I picked up the keys! I honestly cannot fault my experience with Jonathan or with the Okehampton branch of Bradleys, so thankyou!!

Agent fees seemed to be the standard we've come across - obviously it's always be nice if they were cheaper, but they're on par with all the other main estate agents so can't complain!

The agents fees were higher than some cheaper options but the final selling price achieved was much higher than the suggested marketing price of the "cheap" agents so even after the fees we were still well ahead of the competition.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). Complaints Procedure

1. Bradleys is a Member of The Property Ombudsman's Scheme and aims to provide the highest standards of service to all our Customers. To ensure that your interests are safeguarded, an Internal Complaints Procedure has been implemented. This provides for the matter to be dealt with internally by the Office Manager or the Department Head. In the event that we are not able to deal with the matter to our mutual satisfaction after following our Internal Complaints Procedure you may refer your complaint in writing to the Property Ombudsman.

2. If you believe you have a complaint, please write in the first instance to the Office Manager or the Department Head at the address of the relevant office.

3. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 3 working days, investigated thoroughly in accordance with the established in-house Procedures, and a reply sent to you within 21 working days of receipt of your letter.

4. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the initial investigation, you are provided with a further opportunity to have the complaint reviewed by our Managing Director at the address given below:
