SALE OF MY PROPERTY
Tony valued my property at £160,000 and provided tips and hints on how best to get the property 'market ready'. Whilst being very professional, I found Tony to be very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about the local property market.
Naturally, I wanted to get valuations off a few estate agents before deciding which one to use, so I made appointments with the other main 'high street' agent for New Moston and also for the most used online estate agents.
The other local 'high street' agent was clueless, to say the least, regarding the local property market, and gave a valuation of £130,000 which I knew was way too low in comparison to similar properties which had been sold recently in the area.
The popular 'online' estate agent let me down twice on the two dates which they had made appointments to value my property, cancelling both appointments at very short notice, leaving me to question their competance and professionalism if this was how they treated prospective customers.
Happy to say, Ryder and Dutton completed the sale of my property at £155,000 within 3 months of putting g it on the market.
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
Gabrielle and Katie assisted me in applying for a mortgage and home insurance. They were both very knowledgeable and kept me up to date on what was happening during the mortgage process, taking the pressure out of trailing the internet looking for the best deals, when they knew what was the best option for me.
Sue and Lydia were my points of contact regarding the purchase process and were amazingly helpful with advice and in settling my nerves when I was up against two other prospective buyers who tried to proceed with submitting higher offers on the property when I was near the point of exchange of contracts.
Fortunately, with Sue's determination and help, I was able to complete my purchase at the agreed price, for which I am extremely grateful.

Comment on agent fees
I found their fees to be value fir money. Although more expensive than the 'online estate agents' fees, their fees were the same as their local high street competitor, and as with most things in life, you only get what you pay for.
