An experience that brought me to tears.
Having called to attempt to arrange a viewing of a property to let in Carlton and being told to expect a call back I then had to call again two hours of waiting later. On the second call I was told that the only person who could book me a viewing was out until 12 and would call me back as soon as they got back after this. A FURTHER 2 hours later, at 2pm, I then called AGAIN to enquirer as to when I could expect a call back to receive what I can only call an attack by the agent on the phone. Through his terrible communication I discovered that the only man who could book me a viewing finished at 12 each day and so I was waiting for a call back from someone who wasn't even working at that time. He said he would pass my details on to another branch who would call me back before midday the next day. Did I get a call back? Of course not! The sales agent on the phone was rude, mean and unpleasant to the point where when I hung up I was in tears.
Working in customer service myself I was shocked and I feel badly for the landlord who probably doesn't know the number of viewings that they are losing due to the awful demeanour of the staff of the lettings agency.
Further to this my partner then tried to book a viewing the next day as I couldn't face calling again and themselves had to call 3 times (waiting to be called back again) only to be told there was nothing anyone could do at the branch; and only after asking for a manager did we manage to book a viewing.
I'm disgusted at how we have been treated, the poor communication and clear lack of interest displayed by the staff and would recommend anyone looking at a property with them to save themselves the hassle.
Worst estate agent experience I've ever had hands down.
