Thank you for your comments. I'm really disappointed to read that you felt that our service to you as a buyer was not up to our usual standards. I notice that you didn't choose to sell your own property with ourselves, but if you had then you would've known that we have a 4 page Property Information Questionnaire created specifically to find out as much as we can ourselves about every home we market. I'll look into why the Fensa information wasn't available but, this aside, you are right to suggest that checking certification is something that is done via solicitors through the legal process.

I agree with your comments about the Estate Agent Industry and the need for further legislation. As a fully licensed company member of the National Association of Estate Agents, it is something that we actively push for – and why key staff within our business are actively involved in local and national Industry boards.

Whilst I take on board any comments which are constructive, I must say that your comments on value for money are exactly the kind of generalizations which are typically not reflective of everyone in the industry. Whilst cheap fee models will always be appealing for some, it is wrong to suggest that what many estate agents offer is of little value. Something certainly on this occasion the vendor of the property you purchased yourself ('Mr and Mrs Lawrence' 28/2/17) and indeed your own buyer ('C Allen' 20/2/17,whose property we also sold) have already disagreed with, after using our own services as sellers and giving great feedback.
