We had an awful time staying at Easton house, let out by Roseworth properties. Firstly, the estate agents themselves are rude, arrogant, overpaid idiots. It's a shame that they get paid to make the lives of students miserable, a time that should be exciting. They should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat people.
I have too many complaints to write about them all on here, but here are the two main ones.
(1) The 'staff' used to come round to the flat at any time, without written notice and just let themselves in. Once I was alone in the flat (Female, aged 18 at the time) and someone was knocking at the door. I was in a towel and not expecting anyone so I ignored the door. A 'staff' member who was passing then said to the man - 'oh would you like to be let in there'. needless to say, I was shocked, upset and disappointed by this. Luckily, the man said no, however, I dread to think what could have happened. Unfortunately, this was not a one-off occurrence. Also, I regularly heard the 'staff' referring to the students as 'kids'.
(2) The flats themselves are overpriced, run down and awful. They are freezing, the heaters do absolutely nothing. You hear absolutely everything as well, so, to be honest, you would be better off sleeping on the street. How they get away charging the prices they do, absolutely astounds me.
Please avoid this company at all costs, I am currently speaking with Newcastle and Northumbria University, and compiling lists of complaints about Roseworth and their properties, in the hope that they will stop advertising the company.

apologise if you feel this hasn't been achieved. We always give 24 hours notice to all tenants regarding any property inspections by which access to the property is needed. The construction of the building is to a robust detail inline with any modern building to include acoustic matting and isolation; all flats at Easton House are finished to a luxury standard, if you are having any maintenance issues please email us directly to [email protected]. This is the 3rd year Roseworth have not charged any agency fees and will continue to do so for our 2017/18 property launch.
