Homesure were extremely unhelpful, especially towards the end of tenancy. When the landlord was trying to take our entire deposit, in order to better the property (something which the adjudicator immediately recognised) Homesure were a complete hassle to deal with. They ignored emails requesting documents, and wouldn't even provide written confirmation that they couldn't give us the documents we require. Special mention to Julie, who answered every question as vaguely as possible, until the very end. Also Catrina, who lied in front of us to potential tenants, assuring them that the landlord was planning on redecorating the entire flat (as there was damp on the ceiling from a leak, still waiting to be fixed six months later) before admitted as soon as they left that she had no idea if this was planned but it sounded good. If anyone rents a property though Homesure, please take photos of every corner when you move in, and add anything, no matter how small, to the inventory. I thought I knew better, that people would be fair and honest, and it nearly cost us over £400.
