Went to visit a rural 2 bedroom bungalow. *It was filthy and the place was a mess. While not being directly the fault of the estate agent, they did bear responsibility for having chosen the tenants at the previous letting cycle. Still wanted the place. Smiles, shakes hand, 'will get back to you with the questions you have asked'...
And that was it. I sent 3 more emails to the same functional address in the ensuing 16 days with no response. At all. Zip.
On day 16, received spam from the company alerting me to further available properties. I replied, unsubscribed citibg poor customer service. Finally figured out that this was the brush off, for whatever reason.
Another staff member responded to my last unsubscribe email with the excuse of 'the landlady is away'.
As if that were in any way an acceptable response. Total cold shoulder from Adam, without news or explanation. Why would any rational adult human being chose to fund a service with that level of casual dismissiveness?
Generous one star, only because he turned up for the appointment at the house. Eugh. Slimy smiles and fake interest - deceitful. Don't do it. *
