I moved into the property a year ago which was a very quick, smooth process (certainly in comparison to other agents I've dealt with.)

Upon moving in there were a few issues with the house which Edward Mellor would have been unaware of so I contacted them to see if they could be rectified. They were really apologetic for the inconvenience (despite it not being their fault) and everything was sorted swiftly and with a minimum of fuss.

Unfortunately at the end of last month the boiler broke down so I contacted the agents. Once again, Edward Mellor were extremely helpful and had someone round within 48 hours. The boiler needed replacing so the contractors came out again the following week. They were really friendly guys (even joking around with my kids) and the work was completed quickly with no mess.

I'm a tenant who would rather just pay the rent and be left alone to be honest, but when I've had to ask Edward Mellor to look into something they've been genuinely excellent and their regular inspections are always appropriately arranged and carried out with little or no disturbance to me.
Comment on agent fees
I've been renting on and off for some time now and think Edward Mellor's fees are fairly reasonable. Though I've paid less in the past I've usually received a worse service and there are dozens of agents out there who charge exorbitant fees (I cancelled two viewings because I couldn't see how another agent justified what they were charging.)
