Following the death of my father in March 2014 Melvyn Danes were instructed to sell his property as part of the administration of his Estate. From being instructed on 30th April 2014 it took approx 2 weeks to receive an offer that was accepted. When the buyers survey highlighted a possible structural problem with the property at my request Sam at the Branch arranged for a Structural Engineer to visit the property and assess the work required to prepare a report of the work required. Sam again at my request organised for a builder to quote for the work that needed doing and organised for the work to be done once the quote had been accepted. When the buyer pulled out after dragging the matter out for 4 months a new buyer was quickly found and an offer accepted on 17th September 2014. Contracts were exchanged on 17th December and the matter completed at my request on 30th January 2015. Throughout the whole process the staff were vey helpful, supportive and in my opinion went beyond their expected duties in achieving the sale of the property.
Comment on agent fees
The fees were as quoted and inline with what other Agents were charging at the time they were used. No additional fees were charged for the assistance given in organising for the work required to the property to be done.
