This letting agent make no attempt to hide their intentions when it comes to retaining 100% of a tenant's deposit when they move out. From the word 'go' they were trying to charge me money for 'staging furniture' - quite literally moving two chairs 10ft from an airing cupboard. They also tried to retain deposit for a broken wardrobe hinge. This was broken when I moved in and it was documented on the inventory and photographic evidence was sent to support this.

The cleaner's invoice was littered with spelling mistakes and looked HIGHLY unprofessional. At £135/hour (which evidently the cleaner is earning) I would imagine they could have paid for a slightly more believable invoice template - if in fact the cleaner exists and it isn't somebody from in-house doing the work with a fake invoice.

The correspondence received from Walker Singleton was shocking. Rude, sarcastic, unhelpful from the outset. At no point did they even pretend to have the tenant's rights in mind.

Under no circumstances would I recommend anything other than AVOID AVOID AVOID. Judging by the other reviews on this site I am not alone in having received shocking treatment from this company.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Being that my entire deposit ended up as agents 'fees', they were extortionate.
