To be more accurate we tried to sell a property with them. Unfortunately they failed to keep the promises on communication they made at the outset and they failed to identify the fact the buyer they introduced us to was not genuine (causing us 3 months of waiting ended buy our onward purchase falling through).

I dont supose the agent can be held to account for a buyers decision to pull out. I always had weekly calls from them too! So not sure what went wrong here?
