Simon is one of that rare breed of estate agents that you would want to do business with again. He quickly came to view our property and looking at the final price on completion was accurate in his assessment which was significantly higher than competitive estate agents. He was quick off the mark and within a couple of days had several viewings which lead to us accepting an offer. When this buyer dropped out he quickly went round the list of prospective buyers again which resulted in us accepting an offer. Finding the second buyer only lost us about 2 weeks in the market.
Many suppliers promise and then don't do what they commit to. Simon consistently did what he said he would do. Also he pro actively did things without us having to ask; again a rare thing in today's world. Simon demonstrates competence in what he does and is straightforward in his dealings with everyone so that we felt he understood our feelings and acted accordingly. His advice turned out to be correct over the several months to complete the sale. Interestingly, in conversations with friends and friends of friends everyone was complimentary. Our feeling is that this not only reflects Simon's skills and personality but also that being an independent he is not under pressure from head office to sell our house at any price just to keep his numbers up. A good estate agent.
