We set our goals very high with Ryder and Dutton. We had spotted a farmhouse with land that we fell in love with straight away. To buy it we had to sell two houses at about 425k each in a year in a depressed market. We sold the first within two weeks but the second house sale went to the wire with last minute buyers wanting a reduction, another potential buyer flying in from Switzerland to see it, agreeing to buy it and then not being able to complete. Meanwhile the house we wanted to buy was getting edgy with another potential buyer for their house on the doorstep. It could have gone terribly wrong but Lee and his team kept all the plates spinning to the end. We sold both houses in a year and moved into the house we wanted.
It was touch and go at the end but it felt like Lee and the team at Ryder and Dutton including the mortgage arm were trying as hard as us to complete. It felt like a bespoke service.
