I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I have been both a tenant and now a Landlord through Glocal. I am happy with service I get all these years. Their paperwork certainly can be improved but they work hard for the fees they charge. I think most people love to have a go at a pro-active fast paced company. In this country we can't stand anyone who is successful and young. I don't understand why people still use them if you don't like them. Nobody is forcing you!...

These guys are liars and have to be monitored for possible scum. We signed papers for a property to rent worth 600 (papers signed from both parties) and payed them 250 as agency fees. Two days before entering the property they asked to raise the rent to 650. When we refused they started to ask us to provide them with all sort of papers(guarantor) that we haven't agree on. Their purpose was to break the agreement and keep the 250 fee as they did. They knew that for that property they could find e...

After moving into my property last week I can honestly say the process of letting my first property was Excellent. All the agents were kind and polite, they also helped me find primary schools in the area for my daughter. Which they did not have to help me with. I had a small problem within the property. They came out ASAP. And the communication was great. It was a pleasure....

Having viewed a property that I was interested in renting, the letting agent that showed me the property agreed that it needed cleaning and that there were a few issues that needed resolving. The Management company, Glocal Residential were unwilling to address over half of the issues including cleaning the place. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. As soon as he received the money he forgot the good manners. He told us we were adults and we can clean all the mess ourselves. He left us for 6 weeks without heating or hot water and when I called him to ask for temporary heating methods (which he is obliged to provide) he told me he has had enough of me and hang up the phone while I was still talking. Agent Fees

Application fees: Β£210.00 including VAT for the first applicant, Β£96.00 including VAT per subsequent applicant. This cost is NON-REFUNDABLE if you fail your referencing or credit check or decide not to take the property.

Guarantor Fees: Β£72.00 including VAT - This cost is Non-refundable if you fail your referencing or credit check or decide not to take the property.

Once your application is successful, we will notify you and ask for your security deposit. This is charged at 6 weeks rent for working tenants, or 8 weeks rent for students/unemployed tenants.

Finally, we will notify you of the move-in date, and you must pay at least one month’s rent in advance.

Payment Methods
Payments can be made by a debit card, credit card, cash or bank transfer. Bank transfer and Domestic UK debit cards are free of charge, when using any other payment methods, a 3.2% surcharge will apply.

During Tenancy (extension Fees)
Β£72.00 including VAT per tenant each tenancy extension (fixed term)
Periodic Tenancy (Rolling Contract) - Β£216.00 including VAT per tenant each tenancy
End of tenancy check out fee - Β£60.00 including VAT per tenant.

Please note that credit checks will be made on all tenants on the application form to reside at a property.

Complaints Procedure

The Glocal Residential complaints procedure has been structured to ensure that any concerns are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please follow this process:

Speak to your Negotiator or Manager
In order that your concerns are addressed as efficiently as possible we ask that you first raise the issues verbally with the Manager of the Glocal Residential office concerned.


Write to the Director for the area/dept
Your complaint will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt and an investigation undertaken.

A formal written outcome of the investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days.
