I'm not generally in the business of leaving bad reviews but this company really are awful. Firstly, I'd imagine we are some of the best tenants a landlord could hope for. Both professional people while my partner is bordering on ocd when it comes to cleanliness. We rented for almost 2 years and always paid on time and only had to make contact a couple of times to sort issues out. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM!!!! * Rented with them for just 5 months and it was hell! Immediately after the tenancy started they charged us for one thing after another. Everyone I have spoke to who has rented from them before confirmed they too had been victims of dorset lettings and did not recieve the full sum of thier deposit. I instructed them to let out my cottage, which is very good condition as it was recently renovated. After three weeks that they told me they had been advertising it, since there was no interest I checked on rightmove how they had publicised it only to realise that it wasn't actually listed. When questioned they told me they had made a mistake as they forgot to check the button to make it go live. Totally unhelpful, unsupportive, and left us really deflated after renting a property through these agents. We were under the impression that we\'d have some backup if there were any disagreements with the landlord, however they made no effort to help us with our concerns, directing us back to the landlord who was rude and totally unreasonable. Ask about what support they will offer if there are discrepancies in the future. To which they should reply \'we\'d be totally useless\'

Phoned this agent today, to view a property. The agent didn\'t introduce themselves, and gave a hostile attitude throughout the call, tried to arrange a viewing, however was told they only work until 4.45pm, when questioned how a professional working person (one of the many intrusive questions they asked) would be able to view, rudely I was told that\'s when I work, my response was to suggest they open later say 12pm and work till 8, I was given a torrent of abuse. What agent could do to change your mind?
Learn some customer service skills, you may well have had some bad tenants, renting your properties but that does mean all tenants will behave this way. Take the massive chip off your shoulder with new customers, luckily there are plenty more agents out there.

Since start of tenancy we have had taps running on full both hot and cold in the downstairs bathroom, took 6 months to get it fixed. The water running down the bedroom wall everytime it rains is still an issue 8 months in the black mould all over the bedroom wall makes it inhabitable so we are paying for a 2 bed property where only one is useable. The heating stuck on full so the temperature in the house is hitting 40 degrees. No repairs have been forth coming, emails ignored, failed tenancy ...

Fixing issues promptly but as this has not been forthcoming a reduction in the rent as one bedroom is a health hazard.

Kept most of the deposit for "cleaning" at the end of tenancy and the property was filthy when we moved in. Poor response to dealing with problems with boiler and also lack of bathroom when flood through ceiling, paid hefty rent for a poor service wouldn\'t recommend them to anyone! Made slanderous comments to next estate agents....

Terrible service from them - took all our deposit at end of tenancy and when we tried to dispute it they said that we could but we would be charged legal fees by a 'third party' negotiator... Never again....

It is very easy for anybody to bad mouth a company anonymously. It is a pity that this customer chose that path. As a result I cannot respond constructively other than by saying: If this is a bona fide complaint, let me know the details and I will investigagte the matter.
