I think my relationship was difficult for Venmores as I was brother to their client (deceased). He was owner of a property who had contracted Venmores for their property management. Initial contact was with Lynsey Blackburn who seemed to work well. A security deposit held had to be returned to tenant. Reported to Venmore Maintenance team that my extractor fan fuse had blown, my washing machine door was locked and would not open and the seal on my shower had gone. I reported all the issues on the same day and Rob kept me in the loop all the way. Within 2 days all issues had been addressed bar the new locking mechanism for the washing machine which the contractor was just waiting on the part to be delivered....

I've rented from Venmore for four months at One Park West. Huge thanks to Darren on Saturday night, I rang the emergency line at 8pm as I had lost my keys, ten minutes later Darren rang me back and said he would drive to the office and get the spare keys, by 920pm I was back in the apartment. Great service, I thought the original fees were fair and certainly cheaper than a number of agents who I won't name. I can only agree with the other reviews on this site and do not recommend using Venmore. The office is very poorly run with phone calls and emails not answered. Any repairs that are reported are ignored and you will have to fight to get your deposit back when you vacate the property....

There is a administrative fee that is charged when renewing tenancy. This would be reasonable if the admin from this agent was any good. I was not sent any documentation regarding my tenancy as they didn't bother to send it out until a month later after I had to enquire where it was.

In answer to your points raised regarding reporting repairs, we do have a dedicated repairs team, and online reporting repairs system, so we can get the correct person out to fix any maintenance issues asap for our tenants. If I could, my rate would be 0. We moved into the flat, everything dirty, the fridge full of mould , the bathtub stuck (4 months to fix it and is still blocked), 10 days without shower because it was broken and nobody came, some of the bulbs not working and I could continue complaining about how awful they work and of course all the deposit for them and was the same with the previous tenant. The Fees are so expensive, you have to oay every single month to have a flat where nothing is working. They told us we could move on a date, we trust them and we had a lot of inconveniences from them to move on the date we spoke at the beginning before sign the tenancy agreement.

Absolute disgrace of an agency. Moved in in June with a broken shower, the issue still hasn't been resolved after countless phone calls. No one seems bothered in that office and phone calls are rarely answered. Paying through the roof for rent and I don't even have a working shower, it's a joke! Staff are rude and unhelpful!...

If i could rate 0* i would! From the start service has been absolutely horrendous. Nearly being left on the street the day before moving due to staff neglegence. One moving in repairs to be done were reported yet over 2 months later im still waiting, having actually injured myself due to repair work not being done they still continue to ignore all phone calls, emails and even letters. I will be taking this further....

Simply terrible experience at every point of contact once the tenancy had started. They don't appear to want to do anything for their money. They never reply to emails, they never return phone calls, they completely failed to provide the legal advice requested by both tennant and landlord over compensation of building work done during occupancy. As with most letting agents these days, it is all about profit & they simply do not employ enough staff, or the right staff, & I speak from experience, having worked for a letting agent myself. Venmore does not have much of a clue about the checking out process or the legalities surrounding it. Don't even bother renting from them. Absolute disgrace. If i could rate lower than 1 star I would. Basically me and my boyfriend book a viewing in with a woman called Jennifer Peake and so we show up just on time and this other bloke appears. She then says are you both here for the viewing and he says yes. We both go in together to my displeasure as its completely unfair having to view with another person in the first place! My granddaughter rented from venmores. Would not recommend them. Beware when you leave property you will fight to get your deposit back from them and any credit on your rent account. they are very slow at attending to repairs. Their customer service is awful especially if you have a dispute with them and they will not communicate with you or reply to letters. I have rented properties through Venmore for 3 years now. I have always found their service to be excellent. telephones are answered within a few rings, I am kept updated about repairs too. my property is regularly checked. I have moved twice with Venmore due to work and each time I have been kept up to date by the lettings and property management team...

I am a landlord who rents my properties through Venmore, I have used their service for the last 8 years. the service provided by the lettings and property management team is second to none. The property is rented out promptly and efficiently, any maintenance issues are dealt with on my behalf and the rent is always paid to me on time and in full. I am regularly kept up to date with communications throughout my tenancies and void periods....
