Good Afternoon, Fineholm did accept your holding deposit and started the process of reference checks, however on verifying with the landlord who came back to us the following morning, we advised that the landlord did not wish to proceed. We refunded the money that day but it does take up to 2 working days for the money to show back on your card; we cannot speed the bank process up for this. What agent could do to change your mind?
They failed to retrieve any money from the TDS for monies to repair damage caused by tenants. They charged ‚£120/year for the TDS scheme but did nothing to check the property or its contents.

Fineholm are disappointed to read your comments. Each property has its own maintenance manager and we would urge you to get in touch with your maintenance manager to discuss if you feel that there are issues that are not being attended to. Fineholm act on behalf of the Landlord and must follow their instruction - if there is a delay in this we can only try and get things resolved as quickly as possible. Agent could have worked with me rather than proceeding with the cleaning. The locksmith also is not an emergency and left me waiting until the following day to get back. Very poor service from them for getting things fixed. Often with very poor repairs. The holders in all the bathrooms looked a mess after being fixed.

Act a little more professional instead of trying to sound intimidating because they realise their clients are aware the agency are in the wrong Ensure that all members of the team state the same thing rather than give different messages - especially when trying to convince clients that they are aware of the law

Fineholm can confirm that we do not charge tenant fees. We are extremely clear in our terms of rental, which all tenants must sign and acknowledge before proceeding to even begin the process of renting one of our properties. Fineholm are members of ARLA and follow all guidance with regards to fees. Fineholm use a short assured lease on all properties and for the inital period of time, it would be impossible to raise the rent. A tenant would have complete security. Fineholm require all tenants to sign a terms of rental before moving into a property so that they are aware of terms and conditions. Thank you for your comments. We did advise all viewers at inital viewings that the fruit machine would not be removed. The landlord did agree early on in the tenancy that if the tenants wished to have it uplifted then they certainly could. Works were agreed prior to the tenant moving in and Fineholm did check with the landlord that everything had been carried out. The landlord confirmed the works. We did cofirm this with the tenants and questioned it with the landlord, who once again confirme ...
