I moved to Chellaston from Bedfordshire 5 years ago. Prior to my move I owned two rental properties which were managed by separate agents. I approached Michael and Susan Wivell for advice prior to the purchase of another property in the area. Their guidance was extremely helpful. I acted upon it and now have a rental property with a decent tenant, managed of course by Belvoir Lettings. This agency is particularly well run and I would have no hesitation in recommending them....

I have used Belvoir lettings to manage my property for many years now and have found them to be extremely professional, experienced and friendly. After moving away from the area, Susan and Michael have provided me with the peace of mind that my property is in safe hands. I would highly recommend!...

Really good service with this agent. Highly recommended...whenever I had any issues big or small they were dealt with promptly but where it could be I was never waiting long. Nice friendly staff and communication was very good at all times. Wish my current rented property went through Belvoir rather than landlord own managed as so far it has been a nightmare trying to get things done....

Six years ago I decided to LET my first home after moving into my girlfriends house. This was the first time I had ever LET out a property and the thought of letting my first beloved home to an unknown person was truly daunting. However I needed not have worried...... my friend referred me to Michael and Susan at Belvoir Lettings in Alvaston/Chellaston in Derby. Michael came to my house and delivered a fully detailed process of the basis of letting a property through themselves. The whole procee...

Belvolir Lettings Derby were good in that they did not hassle you their fees were well in line with others they did their inspections as per contract and always found the person doing the inspection very helpful and pleasant. What contact I did have in relation to any problems were always dealt with and there were no long term issues. On speaking to colleagues who rent properties from other letting agents I discovered that I was fortunate in having a professional letting agency who listened a...

Latest trick alert! £60 for them to make a dvd of the interior of the property! yes SIXTY POUNDS to run round with a digital camera and burn it to a dvd!! he reassured me this was for everyones protection... Overall, the guy (who turned up in a SLK merc) wants over £500 before youre even sure youve the got house, plus over £800 more when you move in, and woe betide you if your, credit check, employment reference, criminal record check, probably drug and HIV tests dont come b...

An inventory is for everyones protection, its protecting your deposit! However, the landlord usually pays towards this and you should have been aware of this cost prior to taking the property. The £500 you pay is for the rent, and I am sure the £800 you paid is for the deposit, the Agent takes a very small percentage of this money, around £50.00 so its pretty irrelevant what car he drives, if he works hard who are you to critisize him? Yes there are a lot of checks which need carr....
