Waste of time. Agent was pesky throughout the week over phone and email, and then missed our viewing, made no apology, and acted put out that we couldn't just reschedule to his whims. We'd rented a car to get to five viewings that day and because of his failure to schedule his time, we not only missed viewing the property in question, but the other property we could have seen if we'd known he was going to cancel. Rude on the phone, careless with other people's time and money....

Dear "Disappointed...". As I wanted to reply to your Facebook message, unfortunately Yousef was unavoidably detained by other viewers at other properties during the day which had a knock on effect throughout the day. You were called 15 minutes before the viewing time to explain this and that he would running around 15 minutes late. I had my property valued with Acorn and have been harassed by their sales team since. I was very clear about when I would be ready to put my property on the market and what my expectations where. The sales negotiator was late and lied to me about why. He called several times to tell me that he had buyers lined up and even took a couple outside my property. Acorn Sydenham's branch manager came to our home to do a sales valuation and it was an awful experience. As soon as he was through the door he started walking through our home taking measurements of all the rooms without asking. We rented through them and decided on a place, we paid referencing and holding deposit fee and took our document in within 48 hours( despite there's a bank holiday Monday )the office plus the head office were very unprofessional. Hi Andrew, I've been busy moving into my new home, hence the late response. I don't have issues with the landlord acceptance at all, I think you misunderstood the whole situation, because I perfectly understand the landlord has a right to refuse or accept tenants. But my issues are with the mistakes in documents communication issue between your branch and head office and delays in referencing, it took over 2 weeks and the landlord didn't get to look into the references until less than a week ...

I made an offer for a two bedroom flat for £492,500 in Lawrie Park Gardens with this agent. The offer was accepted.I informed my solicitor to await instructions. Misplaced my keys when showing prospective tenants around so I had to carry out a couple of the viewings at short notice; didnt keep a record of the keys when they found then; didnt let me know for 4 days that the heating wasnt working; didnt respond when I arranged a plumber then again they realised they'd given their set of keys to the tenant so couldnt gain access. Do not bother replying to emails, I feel as though I am paying them to manage the property but I'm doing it myself. Not impressed...

Accorn was very effcient at letting my property. However I enountered a few issues in the management of the property. Issues were gaps in the communication, high turnover of property managers (had 4 in 1 year!) and slow turn around. But I have to say that at the end the job was done, it just took too much effort from my end to get there. My current property manager is much better than previous one I just hope I will keep her a little while longer!...

Acorn is by far the worst letting agent I have ever dealt with. I had been looking for a one bedroom flat to rent in southeast London and registered with Acorn. I was quickly contacted by agents from three different branches, which I thought was a good sign. I was totally disgusted by Acorn's attitude towards me as a tenant - they were slow in communicating repairs e.g. hole in my kitchen floor, ceiling below collapsed, bathroom ceiling came apart and these where the people trying to blame it on the landlord. I had to call the police on a guy named Max in customer service there as I was getting calls practically everyday for viewings and thats when the phones stopped. Just completely and utterly awful in a nutshell.. Fantastic at finding as somewhere to live and taking our money but now its time for us to leave they're arranging viewings at all different times of the day and even on a friday night at 7pm! When questioned they become rude and aggressive and demand keys to let themselves in when I stated I wasn't too comfortable with this as we were still paying tenants she stated I'll talk to the landlord then and get them cut anyway. So rude....
