What agent could do to change your mind?
Firstly they could have found me a proper tenant first time around instead of wasting time with a totally unsuitable tenant. They could use a proper inventory company that knows what they are doing. They can try to concentrate on the telephone call they are on so they know what property they are discussing. To call back when you have left a message. To send you a statement every month without having to chase them. To act promptly and efficiently, and if they have too many properties to look after hire more staff

What agent could do to change your mind?
I recognise that problems arise sometimes - when issues arose, Acorn could have acted to resolve them quickly. This did happen with an issue on move-in day with the boiler - but only due to the efficiency of the maintenance company. I don't feel Acorn themselves have put any real effort into rectifying any of the problems that they have created.

I currently have a house on the market with Catford Acorn. It has been with them now for about a month, I've had no paperwork through, there is no board up and have had one viewing. While I acknowledge that there is a lot of work needed on my property, I was made an offer by this one viewer which was £35,000 below the asking price - apparently he is somebody who has been in the building trade and would like a project! -be a bit more considerate to people's situations - have a better attitude - be more organised - have communication training because non of your staff seem to know how to communicate. - be better property managers. (my property had a hole in the roof and damp everywhere on move in) you claim to not have known about the damages. - my flat was a shit hole when I arrived. CLEAN YOUR PROPERTIES.
