Trying to arrange an appointment was a bit tricky as the lady I spoke too took down my email address wrong. This wasn't really their fault, I have a complicated name, however what did grate on me slightly was the miserable tone of the lady on the other end, by the second call I was made to feel as though I was being a difficult customer, and wondered after, when I still hadn't received any details why they couldn't have just told me the address over the phone. This was finally sorted out with a third phone call, and after a call asking us worriedly on the morning of the viewing if we would be there on time, we finally got to view the house. The man who showed us around was very short with us, made no effort to 'sell' the property as such, and when I enquired about various works being done to the property and if they would be completed before the move in date, I was told stroppilly 'well, of course'. After that I asked about the security deposit, to reply he launched into the usual estate agent, super fast schpeel about taking it off the market and how much this would take off agency fees and such, I asked how much agency fees were and he said '£100 per person, as I said before' I replied, 'Oh sorry, I didn't hear you' to which he snapped, 'well you should have been listening.' After that he disappeared to his car to fetch a camera, and while we wondered lost around the rest of the property, he spent the rest of the time we were there taking photos of the lounge. Needless to say, we didn't go for the property in the end.
What agent could do to change your mind?
A full - scale rethink of their customer service technique and selling attitude would probably have helped a lot.

Beware of Mr Kushy Mahmood and Ms A Dewhurst! They're are the dodgiest landlords we've come across in UK. Studio flat in Linwood Close SE5: RISING DAMP damaged our furniture, clothes and health. 4 months into tenancy all was rotten & air unbreathable. We had to invest £100 ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Turned up on time. Ensured that the viewing times were adhered to. Ensured that we could access the property to view it. Showed more enthusiasm for the property. Been aware of the fact that a security deposit had already been paid and accepted before we got a chance to step over the threshold. Kept us informed. Replied to a bid by email without having to be prompted.
