I have had the worse experience with this company on my day of moving in I had no electricity or heating because they had not provided me with a key , they said it was up to m to sort it out yet when I paid my month and a half deposit there was no mention of no electricity key after arguing with a very rude patronizing lady I made a complaint to the maher who then came out with the key. I have been at property under there agents for a year now and during this time the shower was broken also on my move in day. I had to wait a week before this was solved and a further 3 weeks for a shower curtain as there was nothing to stop water escaping .Weeks later after suffering with headaches and getting a new gas prepayment meter the gas man found the cooker was leaking carbon monoxide a leathal gas , I then had to argue with a member of readings(the same woman) Untill finally threatening them with getting the environmental health involved before they finally agreed to fix the Hob. After I month I noticed my back bedrooms smelt damp and mould was growing on the walls , I then found that under my carpet was damp and wet the carpet was layed straight onto concrete , I notified them of the mould and condensation but never heard back from them. I then moved out and planned to use the flat to store all my furniture , I came back a month later and the entire flat has mould up the walls on the carpet and the ceilings , after telling readings and arguing with the same woman that this should not be happening she said she would arrange for Someone to take a look , by this time my furnature was completely black with mould and ruined . A day later I recived a water bill of an excessive amount and after speaking with them it turns out that the other 4 flats don't have water meters so for a year I have been paying everyone else's water. I was told I should be refunded by the landlord. Weeks later nothing has been resolved and i want to get rid of this property but after the issues I am now worries they will try and take money out of my deposit for the mould and blame me , I am disgusted with the service recived by this company , the rude and obnoxious lady who deals with the lettings who I have to argue with and the fact they could not care less about there tenants , I advise anyone looking to rent with readings to turn around and run or you will regret it like I have with a flat from hell.
