I would advise anyone to stay well clear of this estate agent! They are incapable of sticking to their word, they promised that we would be able to move in to the property on the 9th this has gone back and back for a number of reasons that held no bearing. This has cost us a lot of money. They committed ILLEGAL actions when we viewed the house the existing tenants were not informed of a visit, the rude estate agent Valentin just strolled right in without even knocking! The poor man was in his bedroom getting undressed when we were invited in! This is ILLEGAL! Again legally we have the right to know our landlords details - they have withheld this information! Our estate agent Valentin is completely incompetent, cannot respond to basic emails coherently, frankly a ten year old would have been able to provide better administrative assistance and yet they charge EXCESSIVE FEES!! Generally they have consistently ignored emails and failed to answer any simple questions. Our contract also contains ridiculous demands. I cannot describe how shocked I have been by this company's conduct, I can only describe the whole experience as horrendous. This from the point of view of the tenant, however when we first viewed the property we also witnessed the landlord having a heated argument with the estate agent, generally about their incompetence so I would also advise any landlords considering giving them business to stay clear as ours clearly looked unhappy.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have been polite and included me in basic information rather than ignoring my emails or replying selectively without addressing my worries.
The agent could have stuck to their word and agreements (that were made in writing)
The agent could have avoided committing illegal actions by notifying the tenants when visits were made an providing the landlords details
