If I had read the reviews on your site before signing a contract with Blackbear Lettings, I would not have gone ahead. If you leave a message, they do not call back. You have to be constantly chasing them during any marketing to make sure they arrange viewings etc. At one checkout, the tenant left the heating on and Blackbear did not even check. This was left on for months whilst they wasted time trying to get another tenant resulting in a very large utility bill which they refused to take responsibility for. They did not communicate to the landlord any of the damage that was done by the tenant and did not send him any photo so that it was only discovered two tenants later when changing over to a new agent!
They lost the keys and when I rang to enquire about them, they were rude and abrupt. When I said that their customer service was bad, they said "you are not a customer any more" and they threw the phone down.Terrible service and terrible customer service.
Do not use this agent - they may be cheap but their service is cheap too and you will regret it.
