I had a mild experience with Paige, who has shown me a house. She was a bit late in telling me the viewing had moved up two hours, she basically called me as I had traveled to outside their offices...
The viewing was not at all what I expected it to be, Paige was at the wrong house first, and then it turned out the property was dressed up... a lot... to what they were saying it was. It wasn't quite honest to be fair... it turned out to be a house share with a live-in landlady. I felt that was a complete waste of time because all of the sudden there were a whole lot of extra rules about the property.
Paige continued mailing me diligently about new properties, and although she offered another viewing, I had already found a house. The idea that they weren't honest with me in what kind of property it was, and a bit of disillusion about the London property market will make me reconsider this letting agent in the future. As a househunter, at least, they were good with the viewings, dishonest with the property but that can be the british way of doing "sales" in general. I'm as a prospective viewer leaning towards the 2-2,5... however the fact they kept on emailing me would make it a 2 for me.
What agent could do to change your mind?
To be honest, no matter how lousy a piece of property is, or if it is with a live-in-landlady who is devoutely hateful and very "stay in your room" like... be honest. They weren't and that broke me up a bit.

I would have to strongly disagree with you. Although we did unforunately have to post-pone a viewing for you, this was due to the landlady contacting us last minute saying she could not make it.
We made no illussion that it was a house-share at any point and would continue to point out at £160 a week, this is almost obvious in either case. The fact the landlady lives in the property is not something we can do much about. If you feel you did not get along with the landlady, this is something we cannot be faulted on. Should any rules the landlady mentioned to you reflect on us, or the landlady?
We went to much effort showing you potentital properties that may have been of interest to you, and I'm honestly quite dissapointed at your review after the high level of service I gave you. You did even mention yourself that you would recommend myself to a friend.
Please feel free to contact my agency to further discuss this if you feel neccesary.
