Purple Bricks are absolutely fine as estate agents but DO NOT USE THEIR RECOMMENDED CONVEYANCING FIRMS! Our transaction was the easiest ever, freehold sale and purchase. Our Buyer had a mortgage approved and the offer cane through quickly. The Buyer had nothing to sell. Our Seller was ready due to a previous abortive sale and had up to date searches which we purchased. We were trying to beat the end June stamp holiday. I chased the Buyer's searches which came through on time. I paid our Purple Bricks recommended solicitors more money just to respond in a sensible time frame . I eventually got them to get their act together. The Buyer's solicitors were also on Purple Bricks' panel and they were absolutely hopeless. Premier Property Lawyers. They did not apply for funds on time and kept saying that they were waiting for our solicitors. They did not answer calls, they did not communicate effectively. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!
