From day one they have been on the side of the landlord and have no interest in dealing with issues which have been ongoing since we moved in January 2017. They send emails confirming that repairs will take place but nothing materialises. They treat tenants very badly and need to respect that it is the tenant who is paying them the rent. However, the landlord is as much to blame as he does not want to repair/replace broken old white goods (15 years old at least!) and expects us to pay for repairs/replacement! The dishwasher has never worked. Also, he stores his belongings in our garage for free which we are paying for the use of to park our car and store our own belongings not his! We have been in contact with CAB and Shelter who are advising us on next steps to take. Never come across agents and landlord who act so unprofessionally. DO NOT USE THIS AGENT and DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. It's russian roulette - if anything breaks down YOU will have to pay for it to be repaired/replaced! We are thankfully only here for 6 months. I feel sorry for next tenant.
Comment on agent fees
Over the top for what you get. You pay for inventory which is done by one of the estate agents in the office who clearly has no training on how to complete inventories and then charge silly money for the priviledge. The inventory was basic and even the photos were incorrect in that they were taken on different days and not on the same day the report was done.
