I would recommend using Gascoigne Halman in the future. They were very proactive in marketing our property and contacting potential buyers. They even gave us additional options when the first sale fell through. Their communication throughout the sale, (Fay in particular) has been very good and helped to push queries through.
Some suggested improvements going forward would be to have a property sales contact available on a Saturday morning, and not just during Mon-Fri. There were a couple of instances where queries had to wait until Monday to be answered because the relevant contact was out conducting viewings and there was nobody available to respond until the following week.
With regards to the viewing process, generally this was managed successfully. However, there were a few instances where the admin side of it could be tightened to improve the experience with the client. A few examples of this were where a potential buyer turned up at the house without prior notice because there was some confusion regarding the booked time with the agent. We also had an instance where we were notified that an appointment had been cancelled but we hadn't actually been made aware of it in the first place. Lastly we had a call to provide feedback on a second viewing, but we hadn't actually had any at that point. The contact in the office had obviously got confused with another property.
