Awful people not fit to run a tempreture let alone a lettings agency. No receipts given, inventory sent too late to be worth the paper it was written on, tenancy agreement withheld for nine months and £125 renewal fee for a backdated tenancy agreement which, if signed, automatically creates a breech. Chloe refused rent on three occasions whilst management were telling landlord delays were due to us refusing to make renewal payments. Landlord told Abbott's in September to renew the tenancy but on the day we were due to sign Chloe said he was confused and refused any payments. Landlord finally got fed up with them and told them to get it sorted by 5 Dec. Renewal fee paid on 3 Dec but then I get a call from debt department 8 hours later claiming no rent paid, few days later a rent demand made for less than the rent we had already paid. Also covered up carbon monoxide poisioning at the property and never told landlord. Abbott's now under investigation by council for fraud. Landlord has helped no end, always on our side and dealt with carbon monoxide as soon as we told him.
