The first offer we received was ‚£135k under the asking price so the suggested selling price was way out as it was only a couple of weeks after it went on the market. Throughout all the dealings it felt as if the estate agent was working for the buyers and not us. Communication was terrible and although the property was empty it would have been polite if they informed us when they were showing people round. Without our permission Curchod's gave the buyers the key to our property when there were still personal effects in the property and fitted cupboards were removed and carpets fitted and painting done and rubbish dumped in the drive.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have priced the property realistically. Not seemed surprised when I refused offers over ‚£100k less than the asking price. Let me know when they were showing people round. And not giving the keys to the buyers and their builders without my permission before we exchanged. I was told by neighbours the buyers visited the house several times without the estate agent being with them.Attached Filesnbsp;
