I let my house out through Haart. i was a 1st time landlord and was assured the process would be a painless one! if only that was the case. Haart advertised my property and arranged the viewings as i wanted a fully managed service. after a viewing a couple wished to take on the property. Haart carried out the reference checks and all came back good!!! apparently!! after the initial 6 month contract where there were a few late payments but nothing major, the tenant requested a new longer contract, i agreed. as soon as the contract was signed he refused to pay anymore rent. as i was left paying a mortgage on a propert i couldn't live in and was recieving no income from my property i was forced to live in my car. i lived in my car for the full 6 months it took me to evict the tenant. all at great cost to myself financially, physically and mentally. once back in my house it transpires that the tenant never had a national insurance number and had already ran up thousands of pounds of debt! how then did he pass haarts referencing?? throughout the whole process i found most of the people i dealt with to be very rude!! i think its shocking that a company of this size can have such poor regards for people. the judge awarded in my favour and said that the deposit could be released to me as part of my rent, Haart took most of it as a management fee!! even though they were well aware that i was homeless and still trying to provide for my little girl!! an absolutely disgraceful company!!!

Dreadful. They Manage the flat I rent. I have been asking for a broken window to be repaired for almost 70 days, a broken intercom and tap for almost 60 days. Many promises, little action. All the faults were present when they rented me the house. Unforgiveable ...
