What agent could do to change your mind?
They need to remember that customers are potentially going to pay them a lot of money and need to appear to be at least trying to earn it. When a vendor hears nothing from them for months it does not lead you to feel that they are working hard on your behalf. Also, the telephone manner of their staff needs improvement - I called up pretending to be a customer interested in my house and was given incorrect information and then promised a callback which never materialised.

HUNTERS ESTATE AGENTS

This information sets out the procedure you should follow if you wish to complain. You can be sure that we will do our utmost to handle your complaint quickly and efficiently.

Please provide your daytime telephone number and details of your complaint including which staff member you have dealt with. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint and formally respond to you within 5 working days. In the case of more detailed complaints, we may be unable to respond to you within this timescale, where this is applicable we will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and advise you of the time it will take to provide a detailed response.

If, in your opinion, your concern still remains unresolved you have the option to take your complaint to the local Trading Standards Officer at Chesterfield Borough Council, or consult your legal adviser.
