Worst experience I have ever had with a letting agents in Edinburgh. They ignored any email correspondence and when I called they would say the relevant member of staff would call me back (which they never did). Wish I had read the reviews before handing over a £1800 deposit, of which they tried to keep an unreasonable £1000 of (I have never had an issue with deposits and I'm an EXTREMELY tidy person). After seeing the reviews on here, I was apprehensive but gave Dunpark a chance. I was relocating and anxious about my move as it was my first in over 18 years but Dunpark couldn't have been more supportive in helping me find a property and getting me moved into my new home. I have read all the reviews from tenants and have had exactly the same experience as a landlord. They are absolutely useless. Arrogant, rude and inept. Never reply to any communication. Slow to pay rent into your bank account and carry out no repairs-even if requested by the landlord. Staff change constantly-wonder why? What a joke their 'platinum service' is. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE....

Awful company- avoid like the plague!!! Wish i had read the reviews on this site before using them! Rented a flat from this company who were a nightmare to deal with. Started our tenancy by giving the keys to contractors who lost them and had to repeatedly chase this up for weeks until they admitted the contractors had lost them and they needed to replace the lock. I never usually leave reviews but I have had the most terrible experience with Dunpark that I had to. I have never dealt with such a useless and awful company. The staff are rude and unhelpful and will only reply to your emails if they need something. They regularly ignore your emails, calls and are extremely patronising. Dunpark are dreadful - do not use them at all. Their admin function is non-existent and we had to resubmit signed contracts three times as they 'lost them'. They take an age to arrange any repairs - there was damp in the Kitchen at Braid Avenue property, yet for 2 years they ignored repeated requests to even have it looked at. Make your listings accurate. Address issues with prospective clients as soon as possible (especially if they are in the office, talking to you). Have a more streamlined deposit return policy.

Towards the end of our tenancy, when the flat was being advertsised, the viewing agent, Amanda, let herself into our home other than at the arranged time, lost her temper when challenged and was extremely rude to us. The first prospective tenants asked us if there \'was something wrong with her\' and the second left in a hurry after she had made a scene. I would never allow that lady in my home again. Unfortunately, my experience of Dunpark ties up with the other reviews I\'ve read - an fairly incompetent organisation who really don\'t care about the tenants. Just ... be on the tenant\'s side occasionally. Be proactive. Try to be helpful. Apologise if you mess up. Don\'t treat tenants (and their gripes, like broken down appliances) as an inconvenience. Your attitude stinks right now.

I lived in a flat with Dunpark for around a year. Over this time I found them to be pretty much incompetant of any basic task. Like other people have said they seem to struggle to reply to phone calls/ emails. We infact were emailing 1 individual for around 2 months before we were finally informed she had left the company. I had the misfortune of being a tenant with this agency. The flat itself was great, but the experience with the agents was awful. They give the \'front\' of being a top class agency, but in reality, I found their service to be less than shoddy. As previous tenants have reviewed, the staff are terrible at getting back to you, problems have to be chased up daily by the tenant, and the charges upon checkout are incredibly inflated. £20 to change a lightbulb, anyone?!...
