We do feel that Beresfords fees are on the high side, as we let another property through an independent agent who charges both us and the tenants a lot less. It was simply down to Joe's input that we decided to go with Beresfords.

We were looking at just getting the property rented out not really realising how the agency were going to want money after the first year to renew the contract and other little fees that seemed to be added. (My fault, very busy at the time and did not read the detail in the contract)

The reason why there is a charge made a renewal is that our staff have to liaise between both landlord and tenants, renegotiate terms and then once agreed prepare revised documentation. Not all renewals are re-negotiated instantly and there can be ongoing communications over a number of weeks until evrything has been concluded satisfactorily. Unf ...

Our Inventories are very comprehensive circa 50 pages plus so occasionally our Inventory Cleks may miss a few minor things. However we always ask that clients come back to us within 48 hours of receiving the document to inform us of any changes so that we can make the neccessary amendments straight away.
