They sent the £14k upfront tenants rent to the wrong landlords bank account and have sat on it doing nothing for 2 weeks . Refuse to answer phone calls and e mails . Lie constantly Terrible terrible service , can be heard laughing in the background when on phone . Suggested a rental figure that was too low to srart with and argued with landlord as to which figure to market at . In the end flat was rented out at over £200 more per month than Agents recommended figure ! AVOID AT AL...

Philippa was just what I needed, a breath of fresh air. Knowledgeable, willing and friendly. I was embarking on my first experiences as a landlady, and she was, and is fab. I have interviewed some half a dozen agents before selecting Andrews because they were different in that they were willing to listen to what I wanted and discuss the best strategy for me rather than telling me their sales and marketing formula. Both agents at Andrews were excellent and helpful and tried to meet our requirements as best possible. However, the agency that took over once the tenants we're singed up was of slightly lower standard of service compared to Andrews as I did not find them as helpful. Overall Andrews has provided great service and fast in finding us tenants and I would use them again....

Comment on agent fees
The agency helped in keep the fees at reasonable level but I would say some of the extra services provided was unnecessary and should be included in the initial fees. For example the tenancy agreement fee I expect this to be part of the package and the extra admin fees to get the deposit registered or get a gas certificate completed. I would say the inventory is a good service and reasonable.

We joined Andrews in the last 12 months. As we have two properties rented by Andrews we were hoping for a better rate. Although we had a discount on one of the properties I believe a better percentage could have been offered.

Landlords beware. Communication problems. Problems paying you your rent. You will need to chase them up continually. But in this area (Bath) it is very hard to get anyone who will work professionally for you. Prepare yourself for rectifying mistakes and having to deal with your tenant yourself....

Andrews Bath could not do anything more to demonstrate what is at best apathy and at worst contempt towards me as a customer. The state of the industry is something which companies such as Andrews should be ashamed of. Have you no pride?! Myself and my partner found and fell in love with a property on right move.com, and then sadly realised it was with Andrews. Despite our wariness (we were advised by friends and even the taxi driver who dropped us off at the property to not bother going with them ) we went to look at the property, which was everything we wanted and needed for a longer term of letting. What agent could do to change your mind?
They could give me my holding fee back as it is unfair to keep it. They could also be more helpful over the phone. On top of this, they could have offered us options such as a bigger deposit, rent upfront. They chose not to do any of this.

After contacting my property manager, she came accross as unwilling to help me. I asked to have some one sent out regarding a problem with my boiler which enitially she arranged. Thank you for taking the time to write your review regarding the service you received from one of lettings department . It is disappointing to read that your experience with Andrews was not as you expected as our aim is always to provide the highest level of customer service to all Clients.I have investigated this matter and can confirm that the member of staff mentioned no longer works for Andrews & Partners .
