Extremely dishonest agency run by 2 people only at their own whims. No professional processes, no rules and no integrity. There is only one rule that lick the shoes of landlords and tenants are commodity. They will not maintain anything in apartment, will ask you to pay for every small thing which they should be providing (even a strainer), and will forfeit all your deposit no matter what. These can't be people. They lie shamelessly and I can hardly believe anyone is receiving good service. It was by far the worst experience I had with a letting agency, sorry, with a business actually. They are true scammers and I can't believe they have been in business for so long... I will do a complaint to TPOS......

This agency is a complete HOAX. They are not at all professional in their dealings. They speak to you very politely in the beginning of the deal and promise everything but once you are in, they ll show you their true colours. We were given a property with pharaoh ants, broken fridge, freezer, hob and completely uncleaned. They do not even get maintenance work done while they charge the maintenance fee form the landlord. Firstly yes we have an ongoig complaint against your agency. What are you trying to say here? Secondly i haven't mentioned any where that you have got anything fixed. All you have done is harassed us throughout the year. When you say landlord's funds: you have shown landlord that you got things done in the property whereas the things have not been fixed. Eg. Agent fees are alright - 180; however, the way they conduct business (i.e unashamedly charging at the end of the tenancy) makes me sick.

I had over 10 years dealings with this Agent and found them to be extremely professional, efficient and communicative. And all conducted in a friendly manner. Void periods were minimal, mainly due to rents being set realistically and correctly. If problems needed sorting they were sorted without delay, and all repairs were made at a reasonable cost. This Agent charges a 10% fee on rents and which is great value for money. They also charged only 1% commission on my recent sale, so can't complain ...

Dear Steven, We use an independent inventory clerk to carry out check in and check out procedures and only charge for genuine damages and NEVER wear and tear items. All properties have utility bills and as the tenant you are responsible for paying these and this is explained in detail to all new tenants before they move in. Stewart Oliver letting is the worst agent I've ever had!!!. I've been renting these place for over 3 years, after all, I decided to move out cuz of this poor services. They won't give you the deposit back and everytime when you send them e-mails, they're not even bothered to reply or even they replied, they only said that they're still currently dealt with the DPS. what a f''king bullshit!!! The purpose of the DPS is to arbitrate if tenants do not agree with proposed deductions. We also use an independent inventory clerk (absolute inventories) to ensure that the check out is fair. If a tenant causes damage and leaves a property unclean then deductions from the deposit will be proposed. Wear and tear is never charged to a tenant. We use the services of an independent inventory clerk (Absolute Inventories Ltd) and deposits are protected and held by DPS in order to avoid disputes. Deductions will be proposed for tenant damage and uncleanliness and the DPS will arbitrate if agreement cannot be reached. Tenants are never charged for wear and tear items ...

Poor quality of communication, ignored my emails for sometimes days before I would get a reply. Vague instructions on what is needed before moving into the property. Dear Mr Lancaster, You have written this unfair review as you are incapable of setting up a standing order. You were given all details required when you moved in along with your room mates that have had no problems paying. You can pay by all methods including telephone, debit card, cash, transfer or indeed standing order (however you need to set this up as we have no authority to take money from your account) You will continue to be charged late payment charges if you fail to pay on time.
