Property details: Flat 2, 99 Star Street, London W2 1QF
¢â‚¬Â¢ During October 2008 I found an apartment available to rent in findproperty website in Star Street under Adam Smith Residential, I phoned them and arranged an appointment to view the apartment.
¢â‚¬Â¢ Two men came to meet me from Adam Smith Residential office, Stephan Daniel and Salvatore Di Bernardo.
¢â‚¬Â¢ They told me the one I saw in the internet was taken by someone else and they have another one in the same street which is 1st floor flat 99 Star Street.
¢â‚¬Â¢ They opened the door and they showed me the flat and I arranged another appointment during the same day to bring my wife to see it and we did.
¢â‚¬Â¢ During viewing the apartment I request some work to be done in the apartment and Mr Daniel was calling a lady during that time and speaking to her in their language to transfer to her what I requested, he was calling the lady by her nickname (Moshe). Later on and I discovered that Moshe is Berlanty Yousif a letting negotiator From Daker Estates.
¢â‚¬Â¢ I met Berlanty Yousif before paying one year rent and I signed the original tenancy agreement in Adam Smith Residential office.
¢â‚¬Â¢ Mr Daniel took the original tenancy agreement and he told me that, when it signed by the land lord I can have a copy.
¢â‚¬Â¢ Later on all my dealing and contacts was with Miss Berlanty.
¢â‚¬Â¢ Miss Berlanty was visiting me from time to time to solve some issues in the apartment and I asked her in front of my wife that if I want to leave the apartment after 6 months only can I take the remaining 6 months payment and she told me that, you can't because you paid one year in advance.
In nutshell, I paid 1 year rent in advance to the above mentioned property. After 6 month Miss Berlanty from Daker Estates came and ask for the payment for another 6 month. I told her I paid 1 year in advance to your relative Stephan Daniel in Adam Estates Residential. She told me she got 6 month payment only.
I discovered that they changed the contract and faked my signature on it.

I am shocked to read this gentleman review in regards to the transactions that occurred at the time he was very much aware of his agent that introduced our property to him to rent, we were the managing agent of the property, but he was let down by them and not us, specially me as letting /managements for his flat, but somehow he has paid a year in advance to his agent , which they went bankrupt and he is blaming us.

Comment on agent fees
As I buyer luckily I did not pay the agent any fees, if I were the seller of this property I was seriously consider witholding fees for the terrible job they did. Their "system" for viewing properites was terrible, I turned up for a viewing and was not able to get in because they did not have the keys or the agent had not arranged it with the tenants for the viewing to take place. Unfortunately for the Seller, the Agent did not achieve the best price for the property due to their lack of professionalism and understanding of the market. Lucky for me I bought the property at an extremely good price.
