I was looking for a company that "buyers your home for cash" and was looking at reviews of another company when someone posted GoodMove being the one they chose in the end. So I thought I'd contact goodmove instead. I had a callback and from the start of the call. I just felt like I was being insulted the whole time. Now I understand your objective would be to buy for as low as possible - I get that. Just like that, you should understand that I want to sell for as much as I can. These are a given that goes without saying. So I understand that you will want to point out things that would help your case to buy at a lower price. However, there's no sense in introducing yourself and then ridiculing the seller. Especially when it's all about the decisions other home owners have made. I didn't ask you for your opinion on other peoples decisions.... I asked you for a price on what you would offer. If you had provided an offer and it was too low, fair enough. I would accept that and move on. We never even got as far as that because they wanted to focus solely on telling me all these bad things about my block. Such as another seller deciding to sell under what it was worth. I mean, I don't know why they did this... I can't control that. Nor do I really care... I want to know what YOU can offer ME.
After this call ended with him saying that "he doesn't want to waste my time" which he literally did this entire call! I decided to phone up and speak to someone else. This person did give me an offer which was indeed below what I can accept, I know if I put it on for more, it would sell 100% I just can't go as low as what they're offering. That's fair enough, it's about the conduct/service of the person I spoke to that is the problem.
