Never in my life have I seen a more incompetent, rude, disorganised and downright infuriatingly unhelpful group of people than at Dexters Kensington.

Firstly, good luck with reaching the agency. Even if your house was on fire, the agents at this branch could not be bothered to read or respond to your email. At one point I actually had to go to their website and talk to a chat bot to try and reach our property manager.

Secondly, they are insanely incompetent. The agency has about 4 people per task and not one of those people knows what they're supposed to be doing, let alone give you the same information. There is maybe one employee at this branch who knows their job and does it. I replaced a tenant in the house they manage and it took a good three months for them to run referencing and update the contract. Had I not been able to stay with a friend, I would have been homeless for a month. And this was after multiple email reminders and questions from me, none of which was answered.

Lastly, not only will they hold on to your deposit, they will also try to charge you for their own mistakes. We were lucky enough to be able to leave the absolute hellhole of this company's management and surrender the contract to someone else. Hurray, we celebrated! Finally free of the actual curse of Dexters. And then they tried to charge us for professional cleaning even though we booked their own recommended cleaners and they accidentally double-booked. They also tried to charge us for damages done by the previous tenant and seen in the check-in report. Then they tried to charge us for a damaged lock which we reported when we moved in and by the way was not fixed the entire time we lived there. Ah yes and then they wanted to charge us for fair wear and tear. It has now been two months and we still don't have the deposit. Will I ever see my money again? I wonder.

If you really want to rent a property managed by this branch, I suggest you invest into gaviscon, ibuprofen, tranquilizers and a punching pillow as you will surely need them, dealing with Dexters Kensington.
