We contacted Chase Evans for a valuation of our property with view to sell. It was initially a poor start as we waited 2 weeks to hear from them whereas other agents replied promptly within 24-48hrs. We feel this is an important factor as we want agents to be prompt and responsive and show an interest in their clients.
In the meantime, we had two other consultations with other agents who were encouraging. We therefore decided to cancel our appointment with Chase Evans. Whilst we appreciate 'out of interest' questions about our decision making, what we do not ever appreciate is immediate negativity towards our property that they have never seen. Using phrases like 'no offence' before slating where we live does not make comments less offensive, but it does highlight your agents character and professionalism, or lack of.
To have had a better experience, we would have wanted prompt communication, confirmation of appointments arranged, and more professionalism towards to us cancelling our appointment rather than petty comments.
