I am extremely disappointed and angry at the service provided by Your move. I have been in my property coming up to 2 months and so far nothing had been easy apart from paying them their fees! I should have heard alarm bells before moving in when we had agreed a move in date and Your Move then tried to tell us we could no longer move in on this date. We told them that we had already told our previous land lord we were moving out and he had found new tenants!
On the day of moving in we attended the office to pay fees and complete paper work. The manager was present and he told us that he had been down to the house and wasn\'t happy with the state the previous tenants had left it in, and that the oven needed looking at. Assuming that it just needed a quick hover and the oven a wipe over we said this was fine (there was nothing we could do about it now anyway). The house was DISGUSTING! The previous tenants had made now attempt to clean what so ever! They had also left behind the junk that they didn\'t want. The oven is thick with grease and burnt food. They had a week between the date they were moving out and the time we moved in (although we have since found out they moved out 2 days after there tenancy ended)
Over the next week or so we phoned the office numerous times to complain, asking to speak to the manager who was never in the office and would never call us back. We phoned the maintenance office and our problems were logged and someone who apparently phone us back, but never did.
During this time the back door handle also broke and we now cant exit the house via the back in any way.
We continued to make calls to both the office and the maintenance line. On one occasion after driving past the office and seeing the manager sat at his desk we phone the office only to be told that he wasn\'t in the office and would call us back!
Only after making a formal complaint did two contractors appear on the same afternoon. We then waited a week and another contractor was sent round.
2 months later we are still waiting with no oven and a broken back door, which in my view is a health and safety risk.
I am absolutely disgusted that this company could take so much money from us and provide such as appalling service!
