We rented through Dafydd Hardy and unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. When reporting issues, some were completely ignored and we were just told "the plumber will contact you". Even after leaving the property, the plumber still hasn't been in touch! In the end, the landlord was communicating with us directly as there was no communication from Dafydd Hardy themselves. I feel let down by our experience and would not rent a property if being managed by this estate agent again. Now renting through another company and have had no issues and the communication is fantastic. Plus, inspections every 3 months is too often. If everything is ok after the first few, then I feel there should be an option to extend this to twice yearly. Hard to settle and make a house a home knowing a stranger is coming in so often.
Comment on agent fees
The admin fee is costly but the rest is quite standard.
