I let a flat from that agency for 18 months. After that, they said that the landlady is moving back and they can't extend the tenancy agreement. In a week time after I left the property, it was back on the market.
I had to rush and find a new property. I had to hire expensive temporary accommodation because the agency said that they couldn't prolong the agreement even for a week. I had to change school for my daughter. I had to break all connections with the neighbours and all habits.
What the hell? Why did they decide to push me out of the property that way?
UPD. I've decided to increase my score for the agency slightly. Apart from that particularly bad experience, the rest of my communications with the agency was quite good.

On the Landlord instructions, we were required to serve notice to terminate the tenancy at the end of the contract period as the landlord was returning from overseas to stay in their property. After a short stay in the flat the Landlord's circumstances changed and they instructed us to re-let the property for a short term let only until they return again.

We understand that this was frustrating however, there was no dishonesty or any underhanded methods used to terminate a contract. We would also like to point out they had been excellent tenants during the tenancy and the Landlord would have been more than happy to continue renting the property to this family if circumstances were different. We feel that a one star review of our agency is not really justified in these circumstances.
